Lightning Beam Attack - VFX - Mancer Project

Game Story:
The “Mancer” hails from the plane of Elemancy, the stronghold of the “Liberators.” His world was devastated by the Robomancer, leaving him the sole survivor. Fueled by anger and determination, he formed the Liberators, a coalition of elite warriors, wizards, and fighters from various worlds ravaged by the Robomancer. Their mission: to end the Robomancer's reign of terror.
The Mancer was once a student of Elemancy but his training was abruptly halted by the attack. Though his spell repertoire is limited compared to the grand archmancers, he has mastered the fireball and lightning spells, wielding them with exceptional skill.
The Liberators pursue the Robomancer across different realms, always just a step behind. The Mancer must cleanse these robot-infested worlds and dismantle the main robot facilities to liberate each realm. His ultimate goal: to destroy the Robomancer and end his tyranny forever.

We had roughly six weeks to create the game, an intense but rewarding experience that significantly enhanced my skills as a game developer. I had an incredible time and learned so much.
Lightning attack VFX:
This is the lightning attack, one of the Mancer's primary attacks, which I had the pleasure of creating.
Working on this project was both challenging and exhilarating, allowing me to expand my expertise in VFX.
